Check a Bitcoin transaction by TXID

A Bitcoin transaction ID, usually called a TXID, uniquely identifies a transaction on the Bitcoin network. Paste the 64-character hexadecimal TXID above and UnlockPool will open the complete transaction record.

The transaction page shows whether the transaction is still waiting in the mempool or has already been confirmed in a block. You can also inspect the transaction fee, virtual size, inputs and outputs instead of relying only on a wallet's simplified status message.

What does confirmed and unconfirmed mean?

An unconfirmed transaction has been broadcast to the Bitcoin network but has not yet been included in a block. Once a miner includes it in a block, the transaction receives its first confirmation. Additional blocks built on top of that block increase the confirmation count.

Confirmation speed depends on several factors, especially the transaction's effective fee rate and current competition for block space. The live network panel on this page provides current context from UnlockPool's own explorer services.

Why check with an independent Bitcoin explorer?
